Just recently
Victor sent me this email thanking me for Blast
The Ball. I thought it was a great perspective
on how the "little things" can make a big
difference. Winning is not everything, however
it sure does feel good once in a while.

Dear Coach V,
Last fall was a tough season for the Pacific
Soccer Academy Boys U9 team. Even though our
boys are good athletes with good ball handling
skills, speed, and agility we were unable to win
a single game last fall season. Time after time
we would center the ball to the open player but
we rarely put the ball into the back of the net.
Most scoring opportunities were concluded with
inaccurate and weak kicks that went wide or were
easy to block.
We purchased “Blast the Ball” and followed the
video step-by-step as part of our winter
training program. Not only did the accuracy and
power of the boy’s kicks quickly improve, they
also were staying on their feet and moving
towards the goal after the kick which helped
with follow up goals.
I am proud to say the Pacific Soccer Academy
Boys U9 team took first place in the recent
spring league scoring an average of 4.7 goals
per game.
I can’t give “Blast the Ball” 100% credit for
our dramatic turn around because the boys worked
really hard and received excellent coaching, but
“Blast the Ball” certainly was a major factor in
helping the boys put the ball into the back of
the net with greater accuracy and power.
